My aim is to provide music that suits you on your special occasion, whatever it may be. In order to lighten the task of choosing your music, I have compiled some lists of popular requests. My repertoire includes much more than is listed here, and any special requests will be accepted.
For dinner receptions I play a selection of light classical music, including such popular pieces as Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata, Chopin’s Raindrop Prelude, and much more. Here are some samples of my playing.
Schumann, Kinderszenen – Von fremden Ländern und Menschen
Beethoven, Piano Sonata No. 14 in C♯ minor (“Moonlight”)
Bach, Suite No. 5 in G major, BWV 816 – Sarabande
Mendelssohn, Songs Without Words, No. 6 Andante con moto in A-flat major (“Duetto”)
Chopin, Prelude Op. 28 No. 4 in E minor
Schubert, Impromptu No. 3 in G-flat major
Beethoven, Piano Sonata No. 8 (“Pathétique”)
Debussy, Suite Bergamasque – Prélude
Apologies for the poor quality recordings; I do not own any recording equipment and used my laptop’s built-in microphone, designed for webcam use.
There are so many options when it comes to wedding music, from sacred to secular music, both sung and instrumental. Here I have listed songs and pieces from a range of different musical styles. Before you make your decisions on the music for your wedding day, please remember to ask the priest/minister if he/she approves of your choices, as some churches might not allow secular music to be performed.
